Everything here is done by volunteers. Most roles take under an hour a month, and none of them require you to be a senior engineer.
A/V helper
45 minutes at one meetup
Get the speaker's laptop on the screen, start the recording, keep the mic moving during questions.
Speaker wrangler
An hour or two a month
Find next month's speaker, help them with slides, make sure the Meetup page is right.
Social and Slack
An hour a month
Post the event, share the recording afterward, keep the channel friendly.
Co-organizer
A few hours a month
Help run the group: venue, sponsors, planning. We'll pair you with a current organizer.
